See what needs your attention
Home lists the requests that need something from you. It opens when you sign in, and you can reach it from the left menu at any time.
- From the left menu, select Home.
- Read the groups from the top. Each one is shown only when something is in it.
- To act on a request, use the buttons on its row, or select its title to open it.
What each group means
A request appears in the first group that fits, and never in two.
- Problems are requests that need a decision: someone declined to sign (it stays until you archive the request), a recipient is locked out of their identity check, or an email didn't reach someone. Each has an Open button, because a reminder can't fix any of these. A declined request is archived automatically after the archive period your workspace uses (90 days unless an admin changed it under Archive & retention), and a problem on a request still out for signing stays until you deal with it.
- Waiting for your approval are drafts that someone has asked an owner or admin to approve. It's shown only when your workspace requires approval before sending, and only to owners and admins.
- Overdue are requests past their due date that someone still has to sign.
- Waiting a while are requests where nothing has happened for 7 days. Sending, or a person signing, starts the count again.
- Drafts you started are your own drafts from the last 14 days.
- Recently completed are requests signed by everyone in the last 7 days.
Each group shows up to five requests. When there are more, select See all under the group to open the request list with the same requests in it. The number on the link matches the number of requests in that list.
Each row says who the request is for and, in plain words, why it's there.
Chase someone from Home
- On a request in Overdue or Waiting a while, select Chase followed by the person's name.
- Check the name and the request in the message, then select Send reminder.
This sends the same reminder email as the request page, with the same limits. For example, the same person can't be chased twice in one day. ChekSign never chases from Home by itself, and the row reads Chased just now once it's sent.
Whose requests you see
You see the requests you are answerable for. Owners and admins also get Mine and Everyone's above the groups. Choose Everyone's to see the whole workspace. ChekSign remembers your choice. Members only ever see their own requests, and the lists show the same.
The numbers in the left menu
Drafts and Active show how many requests are in those lists. The number goes when the list is empty.
When nothing is shown
Nothing needs you right now. means no request fits any group. Select New request to start one.
Where the usage figures went
The totals Home used to show are on the Usage tab in Billing. See Check your plan, invoices and usage.
