Adding colleagues to your workspace

Your workspace has one owner, any number of admins, and members.

Roles

• A member can work on requests.
• An admin can also invite and manage members.
• The owner can do everything, including managing admins.

An admin cannot invite, promote, demote or remove another admin. That is deliberate: it means one compromised admin account cannot make more of itself.

Inviting somebody

An invitation is a link sent to one address, and it lapses if it is not used. Inviting the same address again replaces the earlier invitation, so only the newest link works — the role somebody ends up with should not depend on which email they happened to open.

Handing over ownership

Ownership transfers rather than being shared. The outgoing owner becomes an admin in the same step, so a workspace always has exactly one owner.
